2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of Aces Up Solitaire, including the main game, leaderboard features, contact form, and related pages available at https://acesupsolitaire.net and its subpages.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways depending on how you use the site.

3.1 Leaderboard submissions

If you choose to submit a score to the leaderboard, we may collect and store:

• your chosen nickname;
• an approximate two-letter country code used to display a country flag on the leaderboard;
• your score;
• your time;
• your move count;
• restart count;
• hint count;
• undo count;
• result type, such as win or no_more_moves;
• submission timestamp;
• leaderboard date bucket; and
• a run token used to help prevent duplicate submissions for the same game run.

Leaderboard entries are intended to be public. Your nickname, country flag, and gameplay results may be displayed on the homepage leaderboard, the leaderboard page, recent winners, and leaderboard history sections.

3.2 Country flag detection for leaderboard submissions

When you submit a score, we may automatically infer an approximate country code from the request sent to our site through our hosting and infrastructure provider. We use this country-level signal only to display a leaderboard flag and associated country name where available. We do not use this feature to determine your precise location.

If the country code is unavailable, unknown, or unusable, the site may show no flag or an unknown-country fallback instead.

3.3 Contact form submissions

If you use the contact form, we collect the information you provide, which currently includes:

• name;
• email address;
• subject; and
• message content.

Contact messages are used only to review and respond to your inquiry.

3.4 Browser-stored local game stats

Some game statistics are stored locally in your browser using browser storage such as localStorage. Based on the current site behavior, this may include:

• games played;
• games won;
• best score; and
• best time.

This local browser data is stored on your device and is not automatically sent to us just because it exists in your browser. If you clear your browser storage or use a different browser or device, those local stats may be lost.

This site is operated from Malaysia, but your information may be processed in other countries depending on where our infrastructure, hosting, analytics, advertising, and service providers operate, including the United States and other jurisdictions. Those countries may have data protection rules different from the rules in your own country.
